
Save the Saptari is a non-profit, non-political, and humanitarian organization operating in the Saptari district of Nepal. Since its establishment in 1999, the organization has been committed to improving the lives of marginalized communities through various initiatives. Save the Saptari focuses on enhancing education, health, sanitation, livelihood, disaster risk reduction, climate change adaptation, irrigation, and awareness activities. Working in close coordination with local agencies, government institutions, and non-governmental stakeholders, Save the Saptari addresses the specific needs and priorities of the communities it serves. The organization particularly emphasizes the empowerment of children, youth, women, and elderly members of marginalized communities, advocating for their rights to health, education, economic security, and protection. Save the Saptari employs a community mobilization approach, actively engaging community members in its projects. By fostering partnerships and collaborations, the organization strives to bring about immediate and sustainable positive change. Through its dedicated efforts, Save the Saptari aims to create a better future and improve the quality of life for those in need in the Saptari district of Nepal.
Sts have been implementing project with strong and inclusive team and team member has been guided by the organizational code of conduct and policies. E.g. Human Resource policy, safeguarding policy, GESI policy and Financial Policy to bring the quality result. The team is continuously working at the community level to bring positive changes to the community through community Mobilization.
STS has been implementing multiple projects in the Saptari and Mahottari districts of Madhesh Province, covering 20 local governments. The organization works in close coordination with local institutions and authorities, in partnership with various NGO/INGOs:
